On April 22, 2026, the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Tashkent State Medical University organized an educational and cultural visit to the Center of Islamic Civilization for students of groups 510, 523, and 509. The event was conducted under the supervision of the Head of the Department, A.V. Yakubov.
During the visit, students explored the center’s impressive architecture, which harmoniously combines national traditions with modern design, as well as its rich historical and cultural content.
Particular attention was given to the Quran hall, ancient manuscripts, and historical sources. Unique exhibits related to the Samanid, Karakhanid, and Timurid periods were presented.
The exhibitions highlight the scientific heritage of prominent scholars such as Al-Khwarizmi, Al-Farghani, Al-Farabi, Al-Biruni, Ibn Sina, Mirzo Ulugbek, and Alisher Navoi. The contributions of renowned Islamic scholars, including Imam Bukhari, Imam Tirmidhi, and Bahauddin Naqshband, were also emphasized.
The visit enhanced students’ understanding of spiritual values and the importance of science and enlightenment in societal development, leaving a lasting impression.
